Keep the little ones away from the real activity by sending them to their rooms. Ask them to make plans for the new room and prepare it for the furniture once it arrives.
Don’t let the empty packing material pile up all over the place. "Fold up the boxes and put them all in one place. The packing paper, bubble wraps and plastic covers should be crumpled and thrown away."
Unload the heavy furniture first. You won’t be as exhausted in the beginning as you would be in the end. Getting the furniture unloaded first will allow you to place other items more or less exactly where you want them.
It is good idea to place plastic cover or blankets between the furniture and on the floor of your storage unit. "Some storages sell tarps and plastic covers for your convenience, however it is better to have it ready before move-in day."
The best way to store your small and medium size items is to put everything in boxes. "You can use carton or plastic boxes of different sizes for your clothes, kitchen staff, tools or any other items."
